The central processing unit or CPU is the brain of the computer, the CPU is in charge of calculating and interpreting instructions when you're using your computer.

It is a hardware component inside the device, that also can be on smartphones, and other programmable devices. Their job is to interpretate the instructions of a computer or other program by performing basic mathematical operations.

the velocity of the ram is measured in GHz (gigahertz) wich indicates the  cycles your CPU executes per second. The more GHz your CPU has the better is it

RAM

RAM is essentially short term memory where data is stored as the processor needs it.

It can be thought of like a computer's short term memory. It works by storing common data that programs are in constant use of, rather than storing the data on a much slower medium. Unlike other devices RAM doesn't automatically have data saved on each chip.

The cuality and velocity of a RAM is measured in Megahertz (MHz) or in Gigabytes(GB)

HARD DRIVE

A computer hard disk drive (HDD) is a non-volatile data storage device. It maintains stored data when turned off. All computers need a storage device, and HDDs are just one example of a type of storage device.

the performance of a hard drive is specified by the time required to move the heads to a track or cylinder adding the time it takes for the desired sector to move under the head, and finally the speed at which the data is transmitted

The capacity of a hard drive is measured by gigabytes (GB) wich counts the amount of data storage the device has.

CACHE MEMORY

Supplementary memory system that temporarily stores frequently used instructions and data for quicker processing by the CPU.

It basically lets you access some information more quickly than if you access it from your computer's main hard drive.

Its measured by the hit radio wich is calculated by dividing the number of cache hits by the total number of cache hits and misses.

GRAPHIC CARD

The graphic card is in charged of rendering the graphics in a computer, the GPU takes data from the processor and works with software to determine where the graphics card places pixels on the screen.

It is usually used for gaming and nowadays for mining cryptocurrency, wich is the reason why theres a shortage of graphic cards right now.

the cuality of a graphic card is measured in frames per second (FPS) that measures how many images is the graphic card capable of rendering.
