trojan:
A virus that once inside your pc (usually sent trough email) it gives complete acces of your computer to the hacker.
password thief:
someone that steals your password in order to use further, for example by using fake programmes that require your password.
key logger:
Type of malicious software that records every key that you pressed on your computer and send it to a hacker.
Sniffer:
They are used by hackers to spy on your online activity, recording everything you're doing.
Spoofer:
It consists on making the victim insert the data that you want. Typically, the recipient is prompted to click on a link and insert sensitive data like passwords or personal info.
hoax:
They are fake and usually controversial media that is created in order to be shared like a chain as many times as posible, for different purposes.
phishing:
It consists of pretending to be someone from a verified institution and ask for personal data and passwords .Specially the ones related to bank accounts.
DNS attack:
user:the personal DNS of the computer is change to other site in order to redirect its traffic.
server: accessing to the server DNS list to modify the directions of the users in that server.
adware:
Its a virus that gets in your pc and starts showing unwanted advertisements or apps on the user screen, allowing the attacker to gain money .
malware:
It is a malicious code that infects a program or pc for criminal purposes.
virus:
A program that sticks to your pc, replicates itself and sticks to other computers by sharing infected documents or programs.
